Dr. Jannatul Ferdous Shumi is a dedicated Pediatrician committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. She currently serves as a Consultant in the Department of Pediatrics at Chittagong Medical College Hospital, where she is actively involved in the management of pediatric patients. She graduated with an MBBS from Chittagong Medical College and further specialized in Child Health by obtaining the prestigious FCPS (Child Health). She also holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and the internationally recognized Membership of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), United Kingdom. As a BCS (Health) cadre physician, she has extensive experience in delivering high-quality pediatric and neonatal care. Dr. Ferdous has a special interest in newborn care, neonatal intensive care, childhood infections, growth and development, nutritional disorders, vaccination, and the diagnosis and management of both acute and chronic pediatric illnesses. She believes in providing compassionate, family-centered care while ensuring every child receives the best possible treatment based on the latest medical evidence.
